France

Whilst most of France was likely to share its blacksmith gods with other Celtic / Briton cultures, the area around Gaul had Belisama. Almost uniquely, this blacksmith deity is a goddess rather than a god.

Siberia

Siberia and the Yakut region have the enigmatic demon K’daai as their metalworking and fire spirit.

Russia

In some areas of Russia, including Mingrelia, the Caucasus and some neighbouring regions, blacksmiths have a reputation as magicians, and oaths are taken on the anvil rather than the Bible. The Caucasus mountain region (between Europe and Asia near to the Caspian Sea) has a blacksmith god called variously Kurdalaegon, Ossetian or Kurdaligon.42 There are a couple of fine blacksmith stories from Russia I would like to pass on.
